For EUR/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD.

Trade Alert for  Apr 09, 2009.

Euro
The euro failed to test resistance at $1.37 and is now headed for short-term support at $1.31. Breakout would test primary support at $1.25. In the long term, failure of the band of support at $1.25 would offer a target of $1.00 (calculated as 1.25 - [ 1.50 - 1.25 ]). Recovery above $1.47 is unlikely, but would signal a primary trend change — and test previous highs at $1.60.

Japanese Yen
The dollar penetrated resistance at 100, providing confirmation of the recent breakout from a descending broadening wedge, then retraced to test the new support level. Respect of support would confirm the up-trend, with a target of 105 (calculated as 99 + [ 100 - 94 ]). Reversal below the rising trendline is unlikely, but would warn of a bull trap. In the long term, failure of primary support at 87 is also unlikely, and breakout above 100 offers a target of 110 (the August 2008 high).

The market is stalling. It may be wise to exit this trade. Market is holding above the 99.66 level.
The CCI is above 100. This currency pair USD/JPY is overbought at this time.

Australian Dollar
The quarter percent rate cut by the RBA did not disturb the up-trend of the Australian dollar against the greenback. Respect of the rising trendline is likely, followed by a test of resistance at $0.7300. Breakout above $0.7300 would offer a target of the September high of $0.8500 (calculated as
0.7250 + [ 0.7250 - 0.6000 ]). Failure of $0.60 now appears unlikely, but would target the 2001 lows between $0.48 and $0.50.

There has been no signal to enter the market at this time.  NOTE: A consolidation of price movement or a price correction may be underway.  The CCI is above 100. This currency pair AUD/USD is overbought at this time.

My trading system required end of day char for forex where 'day' ends at 5.00PM EST.
I use VT Trader for charting, but I am not sure if it is reliable broker.

Clarification: I have my systems that work well (5-30% per month on capital by risking 3% of capital per trade). I just want to know a good broker with good charting package with specs as above.

aayrahson, A great forex system means you need to have high probability trades. You also need to be aware of all the currency pairs in real time. Hopefully this blog can help. http://www.whatisforextrading.com/blog/ Remember, no trading will be fool proof, so be cautios about the claims some trading systems make.

USD/Austrian Shilling or the USD/Sweden Krona

You've not made it clear what you are trying to do.

There are much better ways of "investing" in these currencies for the future, or protecting yourself or business from future fluctuation.

The Forex broker is the one that offers the currency pairs to the public for trading, but the major banks supply the brokers with the pairs and prices (data feed). The "trading platform" merely displays what is available on the data feed.

The Major pairs are the only ones suitable for "trading." Sure, you can trade the Algerian dinar against the Armenia dram, but the spreads will be so horribly wide, and the volatility so low, you'll lose your shirt on a short-term "trade," or the lack of liquidity and slippage will kill you.

A bank would be the best bet for other types of non-trading, or long term investing.

Can anyone recommend a website or some source where I can check about forex brokers?

The only thing I found so far was: http://www.forexpros.com/brokers and some other review sites… I'm looking to invest around $5000 to a forex account and I need a reliable broker.. Thanks

The most important factor to look for when choosing a FOREX broker is whether or not they're regulated. Any U.S. based FOREX broker should be registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and should also be a member of the National Futures Association (NFA).

You can visit the NFAs website and look up any FOREX broker you're interested in.

Make sure you deal with a broker that has a clean record and has solid company financials. Any FOREX brokers that don't meet either of these criteria should be stricken off your list of candidates!

Malaysia got alot of company teaching FOREX course but the response from the course is poor, some more got company tecahing FOREX by buying software, I feel very confusing with so many options. I am eagle to learn and earn extra income from FOREX Trading cause is my hobby and my vision become full time Forex trader, but till now I cant very find reliable and professional comapny or mentors who can teach or share with me about FOREX Trading like: FOREX Tool- Chart, FOREX Platform and so on. If you can't find a good course to follow where you live, look for an online course. Start from there. Get some good books to read.

I believe a lot in practice and the demo account is the most important as it lets you try it out without risking your money. To do that, you may have to open an account with a forex broker and then download the software to do the paper trades.

Don't let anyone push you into trading when you are not ready. a lot of people have lost money this way.
